How to read these. Figures come from real system designs quoted by our team, using JA Solar 620 W panels and FoxESS inverters and batteries. Your price and payback depend on your roof, your consumption profile and your tariff — send your last bill and we will model your site exactly. Certificate values (STC and PRC) move with the market and are correct as at September 2026.
Where the discount comes from
On a 200 kW system, government certificates took $120,770 off the price — roughly half the total cost.
STCs — solar certificates
A federal rebate paid up front as a discount on your invoice, based on the power your system will generate through to 2030. Now available on systems up to 1 MW.
